Construction Updates
Construction is much more than putting down layers of asphalt. Crews move tons of earth, create a new roadbed, place layers of asphalt and widen bridges with concrete and steel. Engineers inspect the project daily to ensure the highway is built according to all design and safety standards.The I-75OTM Team recognizes that interstate construction presents inconveniences to drivers. Motorists should exercise patience and focus on safety. Crews will be working both day and night to complete the job as quickly as possible.

Lane Closures:
The I-75OTM project includes interstate lane closures during different phases of construction to build the job and also to keep workers and motorists safe. Closures on I-75 will be limited to nighttime hours between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Updates will be provided when daytime lane closures occur due to special circumstances. Construction activities on the interchanges at Laurel Road, Jacaranda Boulevard and River Road will also necessitate temporary nighttime lane closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Click here to see the most recent lane closure schedule.
